Glendale's Premier Martial Arts Academy
Olymp Fight Club brings world-class martial arts coaching to the heart of the city. Since then, it has become the go-to martial arts school for Glendale families, working professionals, and competitive athletes across the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas.
Our Glendale martial arts academy offers dedicated programs in Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Sambo, and Boxing with specific class tracks designed for babies as young as 3, kids, pre-teens, teens, and adults. Every program runs on its own curriculum, built for its age group rather than being a generic class adapted for different audiences.
The Glendale location is led by Sensei Aram Grigorian, Jiu-Jitsu World Champion, Judo Pan American Champion, and European Sambo Champion, alongside Artur Tsakanian, Judo American Champion and two-time BJJ World Champion. Training in Glendale judo or jiu jitsu classes at Olymp Fight Club means learning directly from athletes who competed and won at the highest level worldwide.

Glendale Class Programs for Every Age & Goal
Our dedicated martial arts programs are designed around your individual journey, not one-size-fits-all training. Whether it’s a toddler stepping onto the mat for the first time, a beginner building confidence, or an experienced competitor pushing for the next level, our classes provide the right guidance, structure, and support for every stage of development.

Our Glendale judo classes for babies and kids start at age 3 with a dedicated Babies Judo program that runs 4:00–5:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Toddlers and young children build coordination, spatial awareness, and listening skills through judo-based games and fundamental movement drills designed exclusively for their age group. Kids Judo (5:00–6:00 PM) then builds on that foundation with proper throwing techniques, ukemi (breakfalls), and the early stages of belt progression in a structured but fun environment.

Our jiu jitsu classes in Glendale, CA teach positional grappling, submission techniques, and ground control in a step-by-step curriculum that works for complete beginners and experienced grapplers alike. Kids Jiu Jitsu runs Tuesday and Thursday 4:00–5:00 PM, All Ages BJJ runs 7:00–8:00 PM the same evenings, and a dedicated Saturday session runs 10:30 AM–11:30 AM, giving students multiple opportunities to develop their game each week.

Train in Sambo and develop powerful grappling, throwing, and defensive techniques. Led by former elite Sambo athlete Aram Grigorian, our program focuses on strength, agility, timing, and practical skills. Students gain confidence, discipline, and coordination while learning an exciting combat sport that combines technique, strategy, and physical conditioning.

Build speed, power, endurance, and confidence through Boxing training. Learn essential punching techniques, combinations, footwork, movement, and defense while improving coordination and fitness. Our structured sessions help students develop discipline, sharpen focus, and strengthen their skills in a supportive environment designed for steady progress and effective training.
Why Glendale Chooses Olymp Fight Club
Glendale has options for martial arts training. Here is what makes Olymp Fight Club the academy serious students come back to.

World Champion Coaches
The difference between a certified instructor and a world champion coach is not subtle — it is the difference between being taught what works in theory and what works under real pressure. Every Glendale judo class and BJJ session is led by coaches who have competed and won at the highest level of their discipline internationally.

Built for Every Family
Every program at Olymp Fight Club Glendale is built from the ground up for its specific age group. Babies Judo is not a kids' class with smaller mats. Kids BJJ is not a shortened adult session. Each curriculum is developed with the specific physical and cognitive stage of its students in mind, which is why results are faster, and students stay motivated longer.

Structure That Gets Results
Progress at Olymp Fight Club Glendale is tangible and rewarded. A transparent belt system, regular grading opportunities, and structured milestones give every student something to work toward at every level. This is what keeps students engaged for years rather than months, and what ultimately builds the discipline that carries beyond martial arts into every area of life.

Real Self-Defense Skills
Judo and BJJ are tested combat disciplines, not choreographed sequences. At Olymp Fight Club Glendale, grappling self-defense is real: you learn to control, subdue, and disengage from threats regardless of your opponent's size or strength. For adults and teens looking for genuine self-defense training in Glendale, this is the most practical option available.

Elite Competition Program
For athletes who want to compete, Olymp Fight Club Glendale runs a dedicated Elite Competition Program with daily high-performance training, competition preparation, video review, and sport psychology sessions. Our team competes and places at local, state, national, and international tournaments and our coaches know how to get students ready for the mat under real competitive pressure.
